Who is the NAPLAN tutoring & test prep for?
NAPLAN is different from regular classwork
Children in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 at ALL schools are required to sit four separate tests over three days in March.
Tests are overseen by the teachers and principal at each school and usually take place in a hall or large classroom.
Although NAPLAN gives parents, teachers and schools an idea of where each individual student is at in their development, it’s mostly used to compare a school’s average with the national average. NAPLAN results are used in planning, and to determine which schools, programs or skills need to be prioritised and scrutinised.

Jason completed his Bachelor of Arts (History/Literary Studies) in 2020 at Deakin University. Thinushi is currently studying her Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science, majoring in Mathematics at Monash University. She has experience working at Kumon working with Kindergarten to Year 8 students in English and Mathematics and has conducted private tutoring in Mathematics for Years 5-12. Thinushi is patient and nurtures her students to learn with confidence and to assist them in realising their goals for the future, as well as helping them reach their full potential academically. She explains various concepts in an effective and engaging manner and helps her students to develop fundamental reading comprehension and calculation skills for confidence in the classroom as well as everyday life.
